Class Cancellations/Closings

Lack of Enrollment

Community Education classes are self-supporting and all class related expenses are paid from registration fees. Classes that do not meet the minimum enrollment are subject to cancellation. If that should happen, every effort will be made to notify the participant by email or telephone to find an alternate class, or process a refund.

Emergency and Weather-related Closings

Community Education classes are cancelled only when Ohio University Southern is officially closed due to an emergency or severe weather. If the campus is not closed, Community Education classes will meet as scheduled.

Holiday Closings

All Ohio University holiday closings will be observed and applied to Community Education classes.
